The Bag Addict!

Unknown - 03:18:00
Hi, my name's Mehak, and I am a bag addict. This addiction has led to many insane stories where I've spent all of my allowance and any 'emergency' money I had on bags. What kind of bag you ask? ANY kind of bag, couture, vintage, clutches, big bags, small bags, beach bags, anything and everything, from brands to unknown hand made designers, bags I brought side walks in the streets of New Zealand, to high end malls in Dubai to Sydney and Paris.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, they say. If I see a bag I love, the last thing that crosses my mind is what brand it is. Beauty is beauty, originality is rawness. I only carry what I feel expresses my mood and conveys the fashion vibe I'm trying to send. So, as always I'm always on the look out for what's new and what's fresh, every fashionista out there carries a bag not just for the sake of having something to drop all of her stuff in; we carry our bags like we carry ourselves. We pick our hand bags based on our moods, our outfits, the occasion and the way it makes us feel. Recently I saw a bag that really spoke to me; it's designed by the upcoming new brand 'Dokanty' in Egypt. The designer behind this brand has created many different styles of hand bags and clutches, but what I loved about the clutch design that I brought was the vintage, Arab touch of the patters printed on the fabric of the clutch.

The colors, were warm and really stood out; dark red, blue, orange, and glimpses of white. It's always a breath of fresh air to see, new designs and new designers taking the risk of doing something different even if it's just for the love of creation. So this is a shout out to all the young, brave new designers out there, keep your ideas fresh and your dreams big. A big kudos to my friend, the designer behind "Dokanty" for her great work and effort.

Now tell me ladies, what new brands and style of bags are out there and waiting for us to claim them? So please Share your ideas and discoveries, change is always good
